59 teams enter the OASC 2023 season

The Ottawa Adult Soccer Club will see at least 59 teams participate in their 2023 league. This is an increase of 9 teams from 2022.

This year's entry includes 20 women's teams, a club record, with 10 teams in both the women's open and women's over 45 divisions. Both divisions will play 7 v 7 .

Also playing 7 v 7 are 6 teams in the men's over 35 division, while 30 teams will play 11 v 11 soccer in the men's divisions 1 through 4.

The women's divisions are now full but there is still room in all the men's divisions.

"We are delighted that so many teams have chosen the Ottawa Adult Soccer Club for their recreational soccer this summer. said Vice-President Peter Judd. "The OASC has a strong reputation for effective operations, fair play and enjoyable soccer and our registration numbers reflect the confidence that the teams have in our organization.“

This is the 4th year in a row that the club has seen an increase in team entries and it is now Ottawa's biggest adult soccer club.

We look forward to welcoming many returning teams as well as some new additions this summer.” said Peter Judd.

The 2023 season gets underway on Monday May 15th and concludes in the first week of September.
