Last years Challenge Cup winners GDMS Gunners received a difficult route to this years final in today's draw. They were one of 6 Division 1 sides to find themselves in the bottom half of the draw, and they will start their defense of the trophy against Ottawa Valley FC.

The Reds are the only Division 1 side in the top half of the draw.

17 teams entered the Challenge Cup which means two teams will participate in Round 1. The Operations Committee determined that the lowest ranked team, Syntronic Stjarnor from Division 3 plus one of the new teams in Division 2, Grassy FC would participate in the sole round 1 game. All other teams received byes to round 2.
