The Ottawa Adult Soccer club have announced their 2023 program with the return of Division 4 and a September 7 v 7 Tournament on the project plan.
“In our end of season survey a return of Division 4 was a very frequent suggestion” said Vice President Peter Judd. “We are confident that we can fulfill that request”
Division 4 was last played in 2018 but with the rise in team entries in 2022 the Board of Directors are now confident that they can schedule that division.
In the women’s program the Board of Directors has decided to stay with the 7 v 7 format however there are options for any team who wish to play 11 v 11.
“The 7 v 7 format has been very successful with our women’s teams and we intend to continue with that format in our league. said Peter, “However, if any women’s team wish to play 11 v 11 we will support their application to the OCSL.”
The club is also planning to offer an improved game schedule for both the Challenge and President’s Cups next season.
The season starts in mid May and concludes with a 7 v 7 weekend tournament in September.
